The main character and his traveling companion  begins in flight but gradually understands that they have chosen a path rather than being driven by fate. The island doesn’t turn them into heroes or prophets. It simply gives more resonance to the small shifts inside them.The island is well crafted, and emotionally grounded in vulnerability, memory, and relationships.

The Island is a story of how a quiet journey through the countryside can leads to a place where fragile people may be the ones who tilt the change in the world.
